Storefront Coming Soon!

Since we moved here, we've been frustrated by the lack of certain products in the area, and have resorted to ordering them in from points hither and yon. Others in town have expressed similar frustrations, and so we decided to open an online store through which some of our favourite and most-used items will be available for interested parties anywhere in Canada. Share items, of course, are available to shareholders only. But everyone is welcome to shop the store and make requests for hard-to-find products. Our first choice for products is BC-grown or produced, then Canada, then small, artisanal producers in other locations.

**If you are a local producer of organic/natural products, please contact us. In the near future, we hope to link up with BC producers and offer their products a far-reaching venue in the form of our store.**

What we order repeatedly and want to stock here:

1. Stone-pressed, extra-virgin olive oils from small producers. Some favourites include: Laudemio, Pasolivo, Tehama Gold, Amelia.
2. High-quality vinegars like Minus 8, Mitoku umeboshi plum and aged balsamic.
3. Organic, non-irradiated spices, including hard-to-find items like wild fennel pollen, Vietnamese cinnamon, Szechuan peppercorns, smoked paprika, organic vanilla beans, etc.
4. BC-produced farmstead cheeses from Moonstruck Cheese, Salt Spring Island Cheese Co., Happy Days Goat Dairy and others. You never see these around here and they're excellent and should have a wider customer base, especially in their home province.
5. Pastured, drug-free poultry, beef, lamb and pork.
6. Nitrite- and-MSG-free deli meats and bacon from McLean's in BC.
7. Raw, unheated, pesticide- and antibiotic-free honey. We're hoping for a BC source for our store.
8. Quality fats like virgin coconut oil, organic ghee, cold-pressed sesame and macadamia oils. All produced without solvents or high heat.
9. Organic tomato puree and paste with no additives, packed in glass bottles.
10. Organic chocolate, organic baking yeast, Celtic sea salt, non-aluminum baking powder, organic whole grains for grinding into flour.
11. Soaked and sprouted organic nut butters.
12. Authentic rices such as Thai Jasmine and Basmati.
13. Other Asian ingredients such as chillies, vegetables, additive-free curry pastes, coconut milk without stabilizers, kaffir lime leaves, lemongrass, etc.
14. Maggie's Soap Nuts: the best, all-natural, low-tech laundry soap in the universe.
15. Aubrey Organics natural hair and skin care products, with no petrochemicals.
16. Organic fresh fruits and vegetables! We drive all the way into Washington for these regularly.

These are some of the items we can never find here and have shipped in. Please let us know what you're looking for and we'll put together a comprehensive list from which to base our store inventory.
